Parc de la Ciutadella for sure is one of the most beautiful places in Barcelona, Spain. It is located in the Quarter "El Borne" and you can find it easily just following the Street named "Calle Princesa".

The park hosts a lot of Mediterranean plants and huge palm trees. There is a pavillon with a restaurant inside. A small lake in the center invites to go by boat. A little kiosk offers coffee and snacks right next to the "Cascada de la Ciutadella" a huge fountain with baroque sculptures.

It is amazing to sit down and relax a while, looking to the shadows of the plants. Each sunday there is a meeting of young people from all over the world. It's hip to talk, sit on the grass meet new people. If you're new to Barcelona this place shall be first choice.
