Las Ramblas is Barcelona's shopping mile in the old town of the city starting at the bottom of Plaza Catalunya and ending at the statue of Christopher Columbus.
In general it is nothing different than a street going in two opponent directions, interrupted by a part made for pedestrians. Las Ramblas is divided into 5 parts: Rambla de Canaletes, Rambla dels Estudis, Rambla de Sant Josep, Rambla dels Caputxins and Rambla de Santa Mònica.
Along this street you can find numerous tourist attractions like "La Boqueria", Plaza Catalunya, El Liceu, Plaza Reial and many more.
Very characteristic are the street artists entertaining tourists and local people.
